Three generations.
One passion for colour.
Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Enterprises (APS) is a family paint business in Jambagh, Hyderabad. We sell, supply and apply paint, waterproofing and finishing products from 30 brands, and our family makes its own paints, Varsha and Trishul.
How it began
Our founder, Kotha Bikshapathi, was born in 1946 in Jalpally. After polytechnic, he worked as a marketing manager at a paint maker, where he learned what painters and dealers really need. In 1985 he set up his own manufacturing unit in Hyderabad.
Trishul came in 1988 and Varsha in 1991. In 1994 the family opened its first store and became an authorised reseller for HPCL. The Colour Idea Store followed, and in 2025 we opened our Experience Store on M.J. Road.
Today his sons and grandchildren run the business. We supply homeowners, painters, contractors, architects, builders and dealers, and we take on painting, waterproofing and turnkey projects.
